Discover Alcohol Ink

Here is a list of the supplies we use in the basic alcohol ink class

• 9x12 Nara papers

• Dust blower

• Silicone brush

• Fineline applicator, fine tip

• Alcohol Ink (pigmented/colors)

• 99% isopropyl alcohol (91% is easier to find and works good as well)

• Protective equipment like gloves

• Cups

• Full face organic vapor respirator mask. We will keep the space well ventilated during the class, but be aware that isopropyl alcohol have a strong smell and can be uncomfortable for certain.

• A soft round brush - Softer brushes will allow more blending, and easier detail painting. It’s best to not use your nicest brushes because the alcohol ink is liable to dye the bristles
