I will be offering 4 sessions as part of a bundle of learning the basic of alcohol ink while creating beautiful flowers. Every session start with a time to connect to the present moment. We do so by simply allowing ourself to arrives consciously in this painting class and sipping our favorite drink.... tea, coffee, water, hot coco.... 4 projects in 4 weeks - Week 1 - Color theory and create your color swatch - Week 2 - Technic to explore - Simple Flow and blending colors - Week 3 - Technic to explore - Drops - Week 4 - Technic to explore - Ripples - Choose the calendar option that suits your schedule - Offered in French and in English - Day or evening class - I adapt my teaching for homeschool kids! - 30 minutes session MATERIAL LIST (an email with the list will be sent to you as well) - 9x12 Nara paper 275micron or more is recommend if you wish to display your art. Otherwise 150micron is good. Micron is use to refer to the thickness of the paper it won't change the quality of it. -Set of 3 alcohol ink - Ranger is high quality and sells sets of 3. - Conair 1000w hair brush dryer (If you are unsure please email me, I will help you select the right tool) - 99% isopropyl alcohol or 91% is easier to find and works good as well (found in most pharmacy) - A soft round brush - Softer brushes will allow more blending, and easier detail painting. It’s best to not use your nicest brushes because the alcohol ink is liable to dye the bristles -Fineline applicator, fine tip -Protective equipment like gloves and -Full face organic vapor respirator mask I always make sure my space is well ventilated and have a window.
