First thing first, let's have our tea, coffee, hot coco, water.... ready to sip as we paint together. THIS MINI CLASS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY STARTED TO PLAY WITH ALCOHOL INK. No need to be a master, but basic skill are recommended. WHEN? - Choose the calendar option that suits your schedule - 2-3 hour workshop - 1 follow up with chat on instagram or by email when you are ready to share your work MATERIAL LIST (an email with the list will be sent to you as well) - 9x12 Nara paper 150micron is thick enough for this class. Micron is use to refer to the thickness of the paper it won't change the quality of it. - Set of 3 alcohol ink - Ranger is high quality and sells sets of 3. - 99% isopropyl alcohol or 91% is easier to find and works good as well (found in most pharmacy in North America) - A soft round brush or silicone brush- Softer brushes will allow more blending, and easier detail painting. It’s best to not use your nicest brushes because the alcohol ink is liable to dye the bristles - Fineline applicator, fine tip - Protective equipment like gloves and - Full face organic vapor respirator mask -- I always make sure my space is well ventilated and have a window - Masking fluid - my favorite is drawing gum from pebeo - Light grey alcohol ink marker - Alcohol free varnish OPTIONAL These two tools are optional but at least one would be useful - Dust blower - Scissors - Drawing app, print of your design or some drawing skills - Brass alcohol ink from piñata -- If you wish to have some sparkle in your artwork THIS IS AN INDIVIDUAL ONLINE LIVE SESSION Once you signed up, you will receive an email with the link to connect on the day of our session together with the supply list.
